Since Simon Gagne doesn't even have a tryout anywhere at this point, why don't the Oilers give him a look. He could make the third line a bit more of a threat, especially if Eakins is planning on running 3 balanced scoring lines.

They had a good idea to have Omark setting up Yak for the one timer, but then negated the one timer and Omarks passing by playing them on the wrong wings.

Negate Hall's speed by playing him with Smyth.

New coach, same line combo madness.

I think it has something to do with it being September and the Eskimos suck this year. They are bored and really need something to talk about.

I read an article by some chode talking about "Culture change" (which is like the most overused cliche saying about coaches) and how Eakins preaches grit and fitness and accountability and thats so awesome that a COACH wants that from his players!

As if every other coach in the league preaches lazy play and turnovers and being out of shape.

I don't think a lot of the guys employed by teams are really significantly smarter than a lot of people online such as smart commenters or bloggers (see Calgary, Toronto, Buffalo, Philly, and to lesser extents Vancouver, New York, Washington, etc.). They just have the connections in the incestuous world of hockey management and joined the right kiss my ass club.
